Student Ministry

Welcome to Generation Hope, the community of high school and middle school students at Bethany.

Gather

Generation Hope gathers as friends for an evening of fun and learning every Wednesday night.  We kick off the evening with worship from one of our two youth bands. Generation Hope gets updates on the ministries we support and what our upcoming events are – camps, Friday Fun Nights, and other ministry opportunities. Youth are offered a time to share how God is working in their lives in a segment called Real God doing Real Things among Real People. Life is complicated, school is challenging, friends are…you get the idea. Where is God in the good and the bad, the ups and the downs? How can we praise Him, how can we give Him glory, how can we celebrate Him – by talking openly and honestly with each other about our Real God! We then break into small groups for topical Bible studies, relevant for our middle schoolers and high schoolers. Generation Hope enjoys building relationships with friends and can often be seen playing a variety of games on Wednesday nights!

Sundays Morning LifeLine

Generation Hope offers a Sunday Morning Group Bible Study that mirrors our adult LifeLine classes. Studies are focused on growing our youth in their knowledge and love of Christ. We use book studies, videos, and scripture to learn more about God and His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Spiritual growth is a journey, and on Sunday mornings we dig into scripture or other resources to help our youth walk in the Light.

Fun Nights

Did we mention Generation Hope likes to have fun?!?!?! One night each month we invite our friends to join us in an evening focused on fun at a local spot!! Some of our favorites include Laser Tag, Ice Skating, Roller Skating, mini golf, and Go Karts! Fun Nights are focused on enjoying time with one another and building relationships both within Generation Hope and with new friends.

PLEASE NOTE: During the summer, we often adjust this schedule to accommodate for camps and vacations.
